Main Terrasse in Frankfurt

Delicious baked potatoes, friendly service, great view + nice ambience with the lights etc .. The only thing that was less pleasant: it stank - at least today - a little like sewerage.

I order a lemonade I need a sprite with a slice of lemon inside, I go to pay they don't accept cards for payments under 20 €, never again in this place.

Very pleasant atmosphere. We have enjoyed going there for years. Casual and great staff. Toilet is recommended!

Extremely rude owner and waiters. The owner shouted at us furiously for taking a table a waiter told us to sit. The same waiter later claimed he never told us to take any table. The owner then told us to leave "his" restaurant although we told him that we are fine with waiting for another table. This has been the only bad experience we had in Frankfurt.

Great service the waiters are very accommodating and friendly. I ordered a steak on lava stone seeeeehhhhhhrrrr delicious I can only recommend it! The view is just great, you can see the skyline from here. I will definitely come back !!!!

Terrible place - rude waiters - lack of order - AVOID

DO NOT GO HERE - Extremely rude waiters - first they say one thing then do another - one of the waiters basically shouted at us - then the other said he did not care if we stay or leave - all trying to cover each other for their lack of professionalism and organization - I felt offended about this place - AVOID - Lack of respect to the client - JUST TERRIBLE

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. The mix of Spanish and Frankfurt tapas is extremely tasty! And for the meat lovers there is also high quality meat on a hot stone ... I highly recommend it!

So the view was an absolute dream. The prices are absolutely okay and the cider tasted good.

Very tasty food in a beautiful atmosphere with a view of the Main. Simply priceless. And haven't drunk such delicious cocktails for a long time. A must when you are in Frankfurt.

Absolute recommendation! We were here once in the afternoon and once in the evening. The service is super attentive - friendly and there are no long waiting times. The prices are rather cheap. Especially when you consider what an incredibly beautiful view you have. From the beer garden, which is slightly above the banks of the Main, you can see the skyline and the iron footbridge directly. The food is also a highlight. Spanish and Hessian tapas on a small, manageable menu. I can especially recommend the steak from the hot stone. Objectively one of the best steaks I've eaten so far. You get a super hot stone and then the raw steak with a sharp knife, salt, sauce and herb butter. And then you set about cutting the steak yourself into pieces that appeal to the size and thus determine the cooking point. It may sound more complicated than it is. The result was definitely a real taste experience. We will be back definitely!

As always great! This time we had our little dog with us, who was of course sitting under the table. It was immediately asked if we would like water for the dog. Service (Karnik) super friendly and courteous. Eating as always delicious and worth the price.

This place is simply awesome. It has great steaks, good wine and a beautiful view on the river. If you catch nice sunny weather, there is probably no better place in whole Frankfurt to enjoy a few hours sipping wine or beer, looking at the beautiful architecture and watching the ships go by. The only problem is that it's easy to mistake it for a beer garden, while it's actually a very nice restaurant.

A fantastic place where you can relax with magnificent views. I was attended by a girl named Kelly, she was super nice, friendly. We feel like home.

Two stars for the location... but there the good news stops... sure they can bring a beer but having their families occupying two tables and receiving special treatment while ignoring other customers is just plain rude. Also ignoring Corona rules by hugging and kissing their friends/relatives is just another way of showing disrespect to their true customers and their rightful demand of safe treatment (just imagine what is cooking in the kitchen out of your sight). Needless to say there is not much love going into the dishes served... but as said, a beer for the location is justified, not more...

If you want to enjoy the sunset with colleagues and friends after a hard day's work with a cyclist, you are in good hands there. We had different tapas variations as a starter and my main course was a steak. Delicious! Until next time, dear Mainterrassen team.

Three stars for location. Overly expensive for the quality of food and service

This is an awesome place. Sitting slightly above the river Main you’ll have a tremendous view on the city while enjoying a tasty Äbbelwoi beneath a tree. Great. The only criticism to offer is actually the service. They’re friendly, but not motivated at all and they even don’t have a smile for their customers. It’s a pity because it seems like they can afford it. That’s why I have to take away one star.

I wish there were several places like this! Delicious food, super friendly staff and great service. We are there very often and enjoy the view when the weather is nice. For me the whole package is 100 percent correct and I can only recommend it.

Was there with my family on Father's Day. Not only was the food excellent and everyone was very nice, no, they were also very handicapped friendly. Definitely recommendable Not only for families, but also for a trip with friends, because you can order a lot of small things together and eat together.
